A Wow - Vincent

Long had I heard of the Vincent burger. The burger constructed by Vincent Francoual - French ex-pat blessing the west end of Nicollet Mall with excellent food since 2001. I've been there for fancy dinners before. But here's an outstanding reason to go - the burger - ground Angus stuffed with chopped braised short ribs and smoked gouda. Like a Juicy Lucy from - a French chef. But, my lord, it was tasty. Not overdressed or monstrous - like some "famous" burgers. This is simple, artful, juicy, charred on the outside and awesome. Who would've thought to put mix braised short ribs with burger meat. Maybe someone out there. Vincent has - two thumbs up. I challenge you to not enjoy this burger. Fries also superb - pomme frites style - thin cut, perfectly fried.

The burger is like the canary in the coalmine. If the place can't make a great burger, it should turn off the lights... Vincent deserves to be in business. Here's the link: http://www.vincentarestaurant.com.
